David Drum is one of the few Polish dark progressive DJs. For the last 2 years, he has played at the biggest Polish underground parties. He is also a common guest in clubs in the Czech Republic (Fabric) and Slovakia (Unique). His mixes are well known for their rare and sophisticated tracks. Dark, deep, techy progressive, often with vocals – that’s the music you can expect in David's mixes.

David is 25 years old. He was born and brought up in Ruda Slaska in the south of Poland. His first music experiences are also connected with this city. Namely, he was first a collector of records and audio technology lover, and later he became one of the most famous club DJ's in the south of Poland. In 2001, in one of Vienna’s record stores, David found the record that fixed the direction in his playing: Lexicon Avenue “Why R U Here”. That piece of music made David become interested in the genre of progressive house. Therefore, the music he plays is mostly techy deep & dark progressive, which is always dancey and accessible. His high sensitivity to music and careful record selection allow him to satisfy both the clubbers who have a liking for underground sounds and those who prefer more commercial club music. David's favourite labels include: Forensic, Q Records, RPO Traxx, and producers: Chris Scott, Pierre Jerksten, Sander Kleinenberg.

David made his debut as a DJ in 2003 at Forte Club, at a party organized by Silence Agency. Several months later, he was one of the guest’s of a series of parties called Midnight Groove – which were well known for their underground character. The experience David acquired at the time allowed him to play at one of the most respected club in nothern Poland - Inqbator. It is also at that club that he plays every month at Silence! Tech Night parties.

So far, David's been a resident DJ at the best Silesian clubs: Pozytywka in Rybnik and ex. Lemon in Gliwice. In 2005, his DJ set 'From Dusk Till Dawn III' was broadcast on the 1st Program of Polish Radio, and later David was also a guest of the same radio in Warsaw. Currently, besides playing in Polish and foreign clubs, David also works in his studio on new productions.
